Kamo Marsh collaborated closely with our clients to create a series of outdoor living spaces designed to suit the lifestyle of every family member. At the heart of the property lies a generous open lawn, framed by low-level native planting that preserves uninterrupted panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu and Cecil Peak.

On the sheltered eastern side, a warm and welcoming outdoor retreat takes shape. Here, an open fireplace and BBQ area provide the perfect setting for entertaining, while a golf putting green, raised vegetable planters, and fruit trees bring recreation and homegrown produce into daily life. A bespoke playhouse adds a playful touch to the landscape, designed to delight visiting grandchildren.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Remarkables, the site demanded robust, climate-responsive planting. Our team selected hardy native species suited to the alpine environment and developed a detailed revegetation plan for the northern gully, enhancing ecological resilience and natural character.

Recently completed, this project exemplifies a seamless balance of beauty, function, and environmental sensitivity. We are now excited to be finalising the landscape design for the neighbouring property—watch this space for updates.
