Kamo Marsh was engaged to reimagine and enhance the existing landscape of this stunning hilltop residence on Scarborough Hill, working closely with the new owners to deliver a design that respected the property's established character while introducing modern functionality.

The existing masonry features and meandering brick paths, nestled among mature trees and gardens, formed a strong foundation for the updated landscape. Our design focused on creating a welcoming and secure entrance and driveway, along with a productive vegetable garden area complete with fencing, implement sheds, and a glasshouse. Additional elements included a practical yet discreet clothesline space and new planting that complements and enhances the existing garden palette.

A central aim was to ensure the new landscape interventions blended seamlessly with the established setting. This was achieved through the careful use of recycled materials and thoughtfully considered planting and detailing—resulting in a cohesive, timeless garden that feels as though it has always been part of the original design.
