Kamo Marsh was engaged to reimagine the landscape of this remarkable hilltop residence on Scarborough Hill. Working closely with the owners, we delivered a design that honours the property’s established character while introducing modern functionality.

The existing masonry features and meandering brick paths, set amongst mature trees and gardens, provided a strong foundation for the refreshed design. Our work focused on creating a welcoming and secure entrance and driveway, alongside a productive vegetable garden complete with fencing, implement sheds, and a glasshouse. Discreet yet practical elements, such as a dedicated clothesline area, were integrated seamlessly into the landscape.

A key objective was ensuring the new interventions felt timeless and authentic to the site. By incorporating recycled materials and carefully considered planting, we created a cohesive garden that not only complements the original character but feels as though it has always belonged.
