Set on the park-like grounds of the former Hillmorton Hospital, Kamo Marsh Landscape Architects were involved in the planning, consent documentation, concept and detailed design, and project management of this new residential development. Working closely with Ngāi Tahu Property, Linden Grove was a particularly rewarding project, as our comprehensive tree survey to ensured many of the mature specimen trees were retained.

An arboretum was created as part of the development, integrating historic structures, walking tracks, and inviting public spaces. The combination of mature greenery and thoughtfully designed communal areas has been widely praised by new residents, who appreciate the instant character and appeal of this distinctive neighbourhood.
