Kamo Marsh is currently engaged in the design and project management of several Summerset Retirement Villages across New Zealand. In partnership with Summerset, we are committed to creating landscapes that are practical, visually engaging, and enjoyable for both residents and visitors.

At the Ellerslie Retirement Village, the landscape design includes a variety of communal spaces, intimate courtyards, private areas, and a network of pathways that connect residents to key amenities. Highlight features include a bowling green with a shelter and a water feature linking the surrounding apartments and villas, creating a cohesive and inviting environment.

The planting palette has been carefully selected for year-round colour, texture, and a coastal-inspired aesthetic, ensuring the landscape is both beautiful and resilient. The result is a harmonious outdoor environment that supports social interaction, relaxation, and everyday enjoyment for the village community.
