Kamo Marsh Landscape Architects were involved in the Wigram Skies project from the initial planning stages, ensuring significant cultural and heritage elements remained central to the design.

Throughout the large subdivision, numerous features reflect the history and values of Ngāi Tahu, while a recurring aeronautical theme honours the former Wigram Aerodrome.

Our work included the design of welcoming entranceways, feature pathing, public spaces, high-use playgrounds, and other community-focused areas, all carefully integrated to create a cohesive and engaging neighbourhood.

Extensive native plantings guided by Mahinga kai principles are complemented by selected exotic specimen trees, providing seasonal colour and interest throughout the development.
